These computer labs will serve to minimize gaps in access to gadgets and the Internet by providing public computer system access for people with impairments, Marylanders without long-term house (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning people. The program offers grants of as much as $65,000 for approximately 100% for the production, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer system labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The funding source for the program is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and all federal guidelines needed of the financing use to the program. The Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband is making up to around $11.8 million offered through Connect Maryland's Network Facilities Grant Program Round 2.
