These computer system labs will serve to decrease gaps in access to devices and the Web by offering public computer gain access to for people with impairments, Marylanders without permanent house (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning people. The program provides grants of approximately $65,000 for approximately 100% for the creation, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer labs/centers throughout Maryland.

Applications closed on November 29, 2024.$2 million is readily available for this program. The financing source for the program is the American Rescue Strategy Act of 2021 and all federal guidelines needed of the funding apply to the program. The Maryland Workplace of Statewide Broadband is making up to approximately $11.8 million offered through Link Maryland's Network Facilities Grant Program Round 2.
